If You Don’t Like the Weather…

But I do…I love the weather.  The past week we have had few really chilly, rainy days for snuggling and baking, followed by a few warmer days, perfect for brisk walks to the park or drinking coffee, or in my case now tea, on the balcony in the morning.  However weather in Colorado has a reputation of being finicky, and we have a little saying that goes…”If you don’t like the weather, wait ten minutes”, because most likely the sun will have turned to rain, or the snowy day indoors will transform into a cloudless, beautiful day.  In the fall as we transition into the more consistently cold months, mother nature’s mood swings can really keep you on your toes, and can pose some challenges when it comes to trying to figure out what to wear for the rest of the day.  Will today stay in the 50’s, or will the sun grace us with its presents?  The key during these especially tricky months is layering, and if your like me a large purse for carrying an extra change just in case the weather really decides to do a 360.  Here are some pictures and pieces that really inspire layering and the mood of fall dressing.

①  LeMuse Woolen Sweater is high on my wish list

② Anthropologie never fails to inspire, and this Frosted Boucle Pullover by Ella Moss is no exception

③ Give the legs a little coverage (photo) with bright tights or fun socks

④ Urban Outfitters always has great pieces for layering…keepin’ the head warm to ensure the rest of your stylin’ self will stay toasty

⑤ Could there be a better place to hold all your essentials than in this DVF Bucket Tote in Rustic Farm Red
